The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient and safe management of all building-related services. This role ensures that facilities are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and optimised to support the daily operations of the business.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in facilities or property management, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Familiarity with local safety and environmental laws / regulations
- Experience with vendor and budget management
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in facility management software (e.g., CAFM, CMMS) is a plus
What will your role look like?
Responsible for the overall facilities operations, ensuring that services delivered are in accordance with the service agreement, company and client policies, procedures, and standardsOversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and infrastructureOverall responsible for the Maintenance of power supply in the facilities, HVAC system, office furniture, general repair, and maintenance of Electrical, Carpentry & Plumbing, UPS, DG, fire layouts and operational proceduresMaintain the reception, pantry, and mother’s room areas, with daily walkthroughs, keeping these locations clean and free of clutterEnsure compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental policiesAid with Projects from a facilities management perspectiveMaintain visitor logs, issue security badges, show visitors around, and provide refreshments (if available)Act as the first line of response to Technology and Facility-related concerns, troubleshoot issues, and follow up as requiredRegularly assess space readiness, ensuring workspaces, conference rooms, and offices are safe and employee-readyDevelop and manage the facility budget, including cost forecasting and energy managementLead emergency response and business continuity planning for facilitiesImplementation of initiatives to improve operational efficiencies in the facilityMonitor contractors’ performance, ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met, and Key Performance Indicators are exceeded in line with agreed Real Estate practices and contractual requirementsReview supply chain vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure that they are in line with the purchase order and budgetLiaison with the Finance team for vendor payment by the due dateDaily briefing of service-provider vendors, conducting spot checks, overseeing consumption of housekeeping material and toiletries, and the workforceHandle periodic audits, inspections, and compliance documentationThis job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
