- You will be at the forefront of driving our Japan Strategic Analytics and Insights business unit into a next-generation insights business focusing on how we leverage innovative solutions; world-class consulting and expertise; and cutting-edge analytics and tech.
- You will be working with Japan manufacturers, retailers and service providers to implement our ‘Full View’ strategy.
- You will work across brands, analytics, consumers, customer experiences and shopper research to provide a 360° view of the consumers with a focus on analytics and insights that will show clients their future paths to growth, instead of looking in the rear-view mirror.
Responsibilities
As the Commercial leader of Japan Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) team, you will be the driving force in leading our team to promote, develop, grow and deliver our research consulting business and laying the foundations for future business growth. We will arm you with the best in market capabilities as well as access to our full range of research and analytics solutions. Whilst quantitative and qualitative research are a major part of our tool kit, we have the opportunity to better leverage our diverse data assets from across our local and global FMCG and non-FMCG businesses.
Leading a team of SA&I experts of Japan market with a strategic vision to steer the business direction and teamOwn overall Local Cluster revenue target / quota and cost, driving long term profitable growth for given specialty Product.Craft local client engagement plans alongside Solution Sales and Account Developments.Be involved in proposal development and E2E sales process in partnership with Solution Sales, Sales Enablement and Customer Success.Execute Go to Market plan, contributing with sales enablement, product marketing, global SMEs and training teams in the creation of : Sales Play, Sales campaign calendar & content, Commercial Decks, Proposal Decks, Demo Scripts, training plans, pitch perfect certifications, etc.Execute framework to regularly generate client case studies to support product positioning and awareness.Clearly and convincingly articulate Cluster offerings and unique value proposition, matching them with relevant client business challenges / KPIs. Adapt Cluster Sales Framework to each Region linked to use cases relevant to specific target buyer personasLead or support relevant T2T client meetings (local level)Execute sales strategy for Cluster in partnership with product marketing and regional sales leaders, including awareness generation, thought leadership and ongoing engagement leveraging SalesLoft tool, client webinar / events, participation in key associations and other activities.Qualifications
15+ years of experience in research and analytics with working consumer insights knowledgeAn experienced and professional leader who is willing to roll up your sleeves with a fun and energetic teamExperience with growing the commercial and consulting performance of an agency business or similar; experience with integrations and transformations requiredExcellent communication skills and highly effective executive management skills are a givenSelf-motivated, positive, adaptable and proactive and you’re able to instill a similar culture across your teamsStrong commercial acumen and business development skills suited to the consultative sales environment prevalent in the market research industryHighly adaptive and flexible to adjust and react quickly to market conditionsExperienced in constantly improving client and team engagementProactivity / Creativity to generate incremental business opportunitiesE2E Business owner mindsetAdditional Information
