Your key responsibilities :

  • Support origination and execution of Investment Banking business, with a strong focus in the bond execution, including origination, documentation, marketing, and distribution.
  • Daily tasks will vary depending on the phase of the current transactions, but will frequently include the creation of presentation / pitching material for potential deals, as well as summaries of economic and market developments, recent primary offerings, and secondary trading performance.
  • Analyzingparable borrowers and assessing appropriate new issue pricing indication in consultation with Syndicate, producing spreadsheet models, roadshow presentations, and due diligence reports.
  • Assist in Due Diligence, deal documentation and internal approvals
  • Handling day to day client queries on all execution related matters
  • Report on performance and targets to senior management of DB when required
  • Ensurepliance with the bank policies and guidelines and mitigate risk appropriately

    • Your skills and experience :

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in DCM deals execution.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multi task across clients, projects and geographies.
  • Have strong quantitative skills including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniques.
  • Rounded accounting and regulatory technical knowledge to appreciate significance of key contractual terms.
  • Strongmunication skills and able to articulate to demanding clients.
  • Performing in-depthpany and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches.
  • Proven client coverage and origination experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Robust knowledge of all investment banking products.
  • Educated to university degree level with strong numerical ability.
  • Excellentmunication skills with Fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
