1. VMD Strategy Planning and Implementation :
Conduct thorough analyses of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify challenges and opportunities.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute mid- to long-term VMD strategies and seasonal promotional plans that enhance the in-store experience.
2. Store Design Development :
Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities for the Shiseido brand.
Work with SDVM Design Group Manager to propose innovative in-store experiences and counter designs tailored to various channels, including freestanding stores, department stores, and specialty cosmetics chains.
Collaborate with external agencies to ensure the design aligns with Shiseido’s brand identity and customer expectations.
3. Counter Deployment Promotion :
Work closely with the purchasing department in Japan and China to facilitate the production and introduction of globally standardized items.
Ensure that counter designs and experiences are consistently executed across all markets.
4. Regional HQ Project Collaboration :
Support and collaborate on counter projects that are customized to meet the unique characteristics and preferences of each market.
Foster strong relationships with regional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of design initiatives.
5. Analysis and Continuous Improvement :
Propose and implement design improvement measures based on insights gathered from counter implementation tests and customer feedback.
Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of design strategies and make informed recommendations for enhancements.
6. Counter Guidelines Creation and Seasonal Updates :
Develop comprehensive counter guidelines that reflect Shiseido’s brand standards and aesthetic.
Regularly update these guidelines each season to incorporate new trends, customer insights, and product launches.
7. In-Store Digital Tools Development :
Identify market and consumer needs to create and implement digital tools that enhance the in-store experience and engage customers effectively.
Collaborate with IT and digital marketing teams to integrate technology seamlessly into the retail environment.
8. Group Budget Management :
Oversee the budget for store design initiatives, ensuring that all projects are executed within financial parameters while maximizing impact and quality.
Provide regular reports on budget status and project outcomes to senior management.
9. Team Development :
Provide guidance and support to enhance the capabilities of team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

5) 外資グローバルブランドまたは、日本ブランドのHQ部門(化粧品、Prestige market_Watch & jewelyなど)での業務経験
6) チームメンバー・他部署と協業し、外部協力会社を指揮できるリーダーシップ
7) グローバルブランドホルダーとしてのダイレクションをだせること(ローカルマーケット経験者も可)
Proven knowledge and experience in a wide range of retail design and visual merchandising (VMD), with a strong understanding of the market environment and trends, particularly within the cosmetics industry and luxury sectors.
Ability to creatively embody and express the brand's worldview, developing, producing, and executing in-store VMD that captivates customers and aligns with consumer behavior and market trends.
Ingenuity and innovation in creating in-store VMD that meets contemporary customer needs, leads the market, and rivals competitors, with the ability to generate and drive innovative ideas and plans.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions, and provide leadership in directing external partner companies.
Strong communication skills in English, with fluency in Japanese preferred, to facilitate daily communication with each Region HQ, make proposals, and discuss development in regular meetings.
Proven work experience in the HQ department of a foreign global brand or a Japanese brand, preferably in cosmetics, the prestige market, or luxury sectors such as watches and jewelry.
Leadership skills to collaborate with team members and other departments, and the ability to give direction as a global brand holder, with local market experience being an advantage.
Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the brand's VMD strategies are both effective and aesthetically compelling.
