We are seeking self-motivated, strong expert in Supply & Demand Planning to join our business in Tokyo office as :

JAPAN SUPPLY PLANNING MANAGER (Japanese Speaking)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position is to provide the best supply planning and inventory control plan for the success of Triumph International Japan (TIJ)'s business.

This position’s setting is to execute ordering, procurement, coordination and supply, so this team can support in maximising TIJ's growth in the best possible alignment with other divisions with precision and aggressiveness.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To contribute to providing optimal & fact-based solutions by accurately assessing situations using advanced analytical skills.
  • To strongly align with internal teams to adjust our supply plans to fit exactly to Japan's business needs.
  • To strongly align with the Global Sales Planning teams for the best sourcing and production procurement strategies to improve the business.
  • To strongly align with TIJ’s inventory team to ensure both business growth and inventory reduction.
  • To strongly align with TIJ’s Finance to ensure healthy cash-flow by optimizing our buying plans.
  • To build strategical relationships with Vendors in line with company’s value.
  • To lead data-driven & automated working environments by creating holistic database.
  • To manage cash flow, inventory, and a team of 5 members in the company.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to succeed in this role, the candidate needs to have :

  • Strong experience in supply planning & inventory control preferably in intimate apparel, apparel or D2C consumer goods industries.
  • 8+ years relevant experience in a MNC organization.
  • 3+ years of people management experience in similar function.
  • High fluency in Japanese (minimum JLPT N1 level) and English.
