Description

  • Driving the planning and promotion of Korean businesses and products, identifying and resolving challenges, and leading offline events
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to expand the presence of Korean businesses on Rakuten Ichiba
  • Executing impactful strategies to connect Rakuten customers with Korean products, maximizing brand awareness and driving sales growth
  • Conceptualizing, developing, and launching new services and product initiatives that strengthen the connection between Korean businesses and Rakuten Ichiba
  • Managing and optimizing the official Korean cosmetics SNS channels

Work Environment

  • Collaborating with internal departments, Korean PR and event agencies, logistics partners, system service providers, and Korean government organizations etc.
  • Communicating in Korean on a daily basis
  • Occasional travel to Korea, approximately every 6 months (subject to change)
  • Mandatory Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience negotiating with overseas companies is essential
  • Candidates who are committed to results and eager to develop actionable, high-impact plans
  • Adaptable individuals who can quickly respond to changes in the business environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Japanese : Business level proficiency
  • Korean : Business level proficiency (capable of independently conducting business negotiations and email correspondence with local companies without difficulty)
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Experience in sales to Korean companies
  • Experience in consultative, solution-based, or strategic sales
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies for cross-border e-commerce, including sales
  • Marketing experience
  • Experience in the web marketing industry
  • Experience in marketing and managing corporate social media accounts
  • Strong problem-solving skills

    TOEIC Score exceeding 800 (or similar level of English ability or a University Degree earned in an English-speaking country)
