Responsibilities
- Manage the business affairs of Japan FICC / Equities Franchise, acting in the Sales COO capacity of the respective desk
- Build and manage relationships with Japan Sales leadership to develop, execute, and refine the vision and strategy for our business
- Perform analysis on various sales performance and client / product related metrics
- Assist with historical analyses, forecasts, annual business planning processes, and project work
- Coordinate and devise business continuity strategies and oversee implementation for Japan FICC / Equites franchise
- Understanding key regulatory changes in the market place and working with leadership to determine the GS response
- Partner with legalpliance / audit / tax for resolution of regulatory, audit issues and implementation of global policies, procedures and controls
- Proactively identify operational inefficiencies and work with cross-functional teams across the firm to solve for these issues
- Coordinate with global sales management teams on global priorities and assist in the launch and execution of new initiatives in the region
- Staying connected and working towards consistency with the global teams in each region
- Management of administration process such as expense management, floor moves, vendor management budget approvals
- Have proven track record of deliver high quality, accurate product with a meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications :
A minimum of 3 years' experience in financial services or consulting industryStrong interpersonal andmunication (written and verbal) skills, and ability to effectively interact with senior management and global stakeholdersAttention to detail and ability to multitask on time-sensitive projectsStrong analytical skills and aptitude with numbers, ability to manipulate data; data analytics and database query skills preferredSelf-motivated team player with the ability to adapt in a dynamic &petitive organizationAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsJapanese language preferableABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
