Job Description

Requirements

Mandatory

Basic knowledge of materials used in the plants in oil & gas field (material types, basic properties such as strength, toughness, corrosion resistance, weldability, heat treatment requirements, etc.)

Basic knowledge of degradation / corrosion damage seen in the plants in oil & gas field (knowledge equivalent to API RP)

Basic knowledge of RBI according to API /

Basic knowledge of welding methods and welding management

Basic knowledge of non-destructive testing and material testing / analysis

Preferable

Knowledge of the parts of ASME Sec. VIII related to the requirements of material, welding, fabrication and quality inspection

Knowledge of ASME B31.3 related to the requirements of material, welding, fabrication and quality inspection

Basic knowledge of FFS regarding API
