Data Management Lead

As a Data Management Lead , you will be responsible for defining and implementing enterprise-wide data management strategies, frameworks, and policies. You will lead initiatives around data governance, quality, integration, and compliance. You will also act as a mentor to data professionals, collaborate with IT and business stakeholders, and support transformation projects that require high data maturity and accountability.

Your missions

Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide data management strategies and frameworks.

Oversee data governance, data quality, and master data management programs.

Define and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices across business and IT functions.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, etc.).

Manage metadata repositories and data lineage documentation.

Support and lead data integration, migration, and transformation initiatives.

Collaborate across departments to align business objectives with data infrastructure.

Mentor and support junior data analysts and data governance professionals.

Your profile

7–9 years of experience in data management, data governance, or enterprise data architecture.

In-depth understanding of data governance frameworks and industry best practices.

Hands-on experience with platforms such as Atlan, Collibra, Informatica, Talend, or similar tools.

Strong knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and master data integration.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architecture (data mesh, data fabric).

Proficiency in SQL and Power BI for querying, reporting, and dashboarding.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across technical and business teams.

Proven leadership experience in cross-functional environments.

Preferred qualifications :

Certifications such as CDMP, DGSP, or equivalent in data governance or data management.

Experience working in regulated sectors (finance, pharma, healthcare, etc.).

Multilingual : Fluent in English; Japanese or other languages are a plus.
