ROLE OVERVIEW

Human Capital Management (HCM) recruits, develops and rewards the people of Goldman Sachs. Our teams design and implement strategies, processes and technologies that help them advance professionally, drive productivity and help the firm and our clients achieve superior results. This position will support the delivery of our strategy, management, operations,ernancepliance and oversight of Japan benefit and wellness program, as well as opportunities to collaborate with the broader team across 8 APAC locations. The team also focuses on engagement, innovation and education. We work closely with vendor partners and expert advisors to provide a high quality offering to employees.

The ideal candidate will leverage their substantial benefits expertise to design and deliverprehensive benefit programs across the region. The candidate will work closely with other internal groups (, Legal, Tax, Finance, and the Vendor Management Office) to deliver a best in class program. This position is at the Analyst level and based in Tokyo, Japan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support APAC Benefits & Wellness team to deliver on advisory and operational aspects of strategy,ernance, technology, risk management and routine processing of Japan and broader APAC benefit programs including :

STRATEGY

  • Support Japan Benefits & Wellness programs, operations, outsourcing and technology strategy that maximises employee experience whilst leveraging cost saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with APAC Operations team on cross regional / global operations and / or technology projects including cross functional working group activity
  • Manage APAC Benefits & Wellness Operations processes and procedures in accordance with internal policy
  • Ensure Benefits & Wellness programs arepliant with local regulations and ensure updates, when necessary, are made in a timely manner
  • Support Japan Benefits & Wellness vendor management to ensurepliance with Goldman Sachs' vendor management and risk policies as they relate to Benefits

OPERATIONS :

  • Assist in the routine delivery of Benefits & Wellness administration in Japan, working with third-party administrators and systems, including payroll, renewals, tax data, and vendor enrollment while managing budgets
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiencies in Japan, aiming for scalability across APAC
  • Support vendor management, ensuringpliance, tracking performance against KPIs, and assisting with contract reviews / renewals
  • OTHER :

  • Provide advisory and operational services to the business including benefit systems and vendor management, postings, presentations and the delivery of other stakeholder management documentation
  • Drive employee engagement and marketing initiatives to increase both visibility andmerciality of the firm's Benefits & Wellness programs
  • Collaborate and support broader projects across the APAC Benefits & Wellness team as required
  • SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project and operational delivery in Human Resources; Japan Benefits & Wellness consulting / management and / or operations experience preferred
  • Possesses strongmunication, influencing, and analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively collaborate within a global team, solve problems through detailed analysis, and escalate issues appropriately to manage risk
  • Results-oriented; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, take initiative to improve own performance
  • Ability to operate in both a physical office environment, where in-personmunication is heavily valued, and virtually with team spread across multiple locations in the region
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (speak / read / write)
