Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. Key Accountabilities :
You are responsible to manage pre-defined Data Center Key Accounts in Japan and to win and develop potential new Data Center clients.
Develop long-term relationships and growth strategies with respective Key Accounts.
Focus on turn-key solutions which include the equipment delivery, customized scope, peripherals, logistics, installation & commissioning on site and service agreements.
Assessing and working on complex tenders incl. technical and commercial clarification of specifications, T&Cs and scope of works.
Putting together holistic quotations incl. commercial offer, bill of material, scope demarcation, technical submittals, service information, etc.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as application & sales engineering, controlling, project management, service, network management, order management, R&D, subsidiaries and other supporting functions on successfully quoting and executing turn-key projects and to further develop our Japan Data Center business.
Achieve the sales targets and KPIs of Rolls-Royce Solutions’ Data Center Direct Sales.
Be aware of global and regional market trends in the Data Center environment and prepare market strategic decisions to grow the business.
Use internal sales and information tools such as CRM, configuration tools, information data bases, computerized engineering tools, technical libraries and factory standards for the sales work as well as for the planning and reporting. Make sure to work in accordance with the internal processes, approval workflows and the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
Qualifications and Skills :
Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Sales experience (min. 5 years) in the data center industry or for emergency power generation business.
Strong sales track record from lead to quote to order to completed project & installations
Fluency in both spoken & written Japanese and English
Ability to travel – domestic and international (30%)
Knowledge in Data Center infrastructure market & technicalities
Good communication, interpersonal skills and team management
Independent, reliable and proactive personality
