Job Title : Area Sales Manager - Japan

Position Description

This position is vital to the development of product and market growth for the company. It requires working directly with EPCs, Licensors, OEMs and Channel Partners, and also End-users as needed, to market the company’s products, and to generate required timely orders that align with each year’s annual plan.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for executing sales and strategic account strategies to profitably grow revenue in line with annual and multi-year growth plans for EPC and certain End User new unit business streams for all Sundyne product lines. This position will :

Work directly with named EPCs, Licensors, and certain End-user and OEM accounts. Coordinate sales activities through select EPCs and channel partners in the territory. Be responsible for improving customer relationships at all levels, resulting in growth for the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Early position the company to quarterly grow healthy pipelines for each of Sundyne’s products at the anticipated company’s profitability levels.

Delivers booking targets and 15% year over year growth strategies.

Timely manage booking forecasts for assigned territories reporting into Regional Sales Manager using the company CRM.

Identify current or underserved accounts

Develop annual initiatives and selling strategies to optimize customer penetration including direct interaction with end-users

Provides input on customer needs for new product and service offerings related to enhancing reliability and operational effectiveness

Stay informed on industry technology trends and standards

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization (internal / external)Support annual forecast development for each year’s Plan

Understand the local and international markets being served by the customers

Produce a bookings plan that is consistent with the pipeline development throughout the year

Deliver the annual bookings plan at the appropriate sales meetings

Skills & Abilities

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience in selling rotating equipment in the chemical, industrial, P&P, refineries, O&G markets and general industries accounts.
  • Channel / Distributor / EPC / Licensor experience
  • Experienced commercial negotiator
  • Presentation and customer relation skills
  • Experience in Dynamics CRM, and other required software such as Powerpoint, Excel and Word
