Job Summary

Facility Maintenance Management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute maintenance of facilities and equipment within the hotel premises, including buildings, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and others. This involves scheduling regular inspections, carrying out repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.
  • Establishment and execution of regular inspection schedules.
  • Prioritization and coordination of maintenance tasks and schedule
  • Measures against Mold Growth Due to the Unique Seasonal Humidity in Okinawa.
  • Endeavour to maintain and control the quality of drinking water and pool water to comply with laws and regulations, and regularly remove debris from the pool and clean it.
  • Equipment repair
  • Facility Repair : Includes repairs to facilities and equipment within the hotel (air conditioning units, electricity, plumbing, etc.). These facilities require regular maintenance, and in the event of a malfunction or damage, prompt repair is necessary
  • Creating and reporting records regarding repairs.
  • Quality management of repair operations and promotion of improvement processes
  • Prompt response to equipment failures or damages and supervision of repair operations
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Facility Safety Management / Natural Disasters
  • Fire Safety
  • Emergency Response
  • Facility Budget Management
  • Coordination with External Vendors
  • Building an emergency communication system.
  • Energy Efficiency, Environmental Consideration, and Community Contribution
  • Quality control
  • Management and training of staff
  • Inventory management : Procurement tasks
  • Help Desk Operation

    • Required Skills – General skills

  • At least 8 years of management experience in a similar position is desirable.
  • Fluency in Japanese is a requirement for this role
