Regional Lead – AI Infrastructure Sales based in Japan

Be an integral part of the AI revolution in Asia. Oracle is experiencing rapid growth through the delivery of market-leading AI infrastructure solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our AI Infrastructure business in Japan, with extended responsibility for key territories including Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

This is a regionally focused role based in Japan, with occasional international travel as required.

Responsibilities :

You will lead AI infrastructure sales efforts across multiple industries, public sector entities, and enterprise segments in Japan. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, and managing strategic accounts throughout the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and needs analysis to negotiation and post-sales engagement.

You will collaborate with Oracle internal teams, partners (such as NVIDIA, AMD, Dell, and system integrators), and local stakeholders to drive adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as the preferred platform for AI workloads.

Key Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in AI infrastructure, cloud, or high-performance computing (HPC) solutions.
  • Proven success in selling complex solutions in Japan and / or neighboring markets such as Korea, Taiwan, or Vietnam.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure deployments including supply chain timelines, partner ecosystems, pricing structures, and competitive positioning.
  • Technical acumen and the ability to engage deeply with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with AI ecosystem partners (., NVIDIA, Supermicro, Lenovo) and global consulting firms (., Accenture, Deloitte).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline generation, execute effective deal strategies, and collaborate across departments.
  • Familiarity with the local AI research, innovation, and startup communities, and a passion for building a next-generation AI ecosystem in Asia with Oracle at its core.
  • Business-level in English & Japanese is required; proficiency in Korean, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is a plus.
