Job Summary

Our client is a multinational finance company looking for a bilingual (ENG / JPN) Cyber Security Project Manager to build a Security Operations Center (SOC) in Japan to help implement and establish a global security framework across the organization.

Job Description

Project Planning & Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans that outline clear outcomes and milestones. Regulatory Compliance : Oversee the implementation of security measures in response to new regulations emerging from Japan and India. Collaborate with local control experts to ensure projects meet regional compliance requirements.

Change Governance : Contribute to the establishment of a global change governance framework.

Coordination & Collaboration : Facilitate communication and coordination among various teams involved in the projects.

Risk Assessment & Reporting : Implement a RAG (Red, Amber, Green) status reporting system.

Successful Applicant

Bilingual Communication in English / Japanese

PM Background in shaping and leading security initiatives

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on security and regulatory compliance.

Previous involvement in running security data programs within large organizations, with proficiency in data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), data loss prevention strategies, and data governance frameworks.

Experience in establishing third-party risk assessments and a strong understanding of Security Operations Centers (SOC) and integration of third-party assessments into security frameworks.

Finance / Insurance industry experience would be a plus
