Position Summary
This role will drive the strategy and execution of Medical Affairs initiatives in the Asia region , reporting to the Medical Director for Japan. The focus is on the following core areas :
- Medical Information
- Medical Communications
- Medical Operations
The position ensures compliance with regional and country regulations and industry standards, while maintaining alignment with global Medical Affairs strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement regional initiatives related to medical servicesOversee medical information services across Asia, including contact center managementProvide accurate, timely verbal and written responses to medical inquiries in AsiaSupport regional and local publications, education, and training programsAssist in organizing and executing advisory boardsCoordinate local review and approval of medical materialsBuild strong cross-functional partnerships (Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory)Attend major congresses, scientific meetings, and business eventsProvide additional Medical Services support as neededSkills & Competencies

Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc.) in a scientific field5–7 years of experience in Medical AffairsPreferred experience in Medical Information, Communications, Publications, or OperationsCardiovascular experience strongly preferredAbility to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken (for global collaboration)Location
