We are currently looking for Indirect Procurement Manager responsible for the most categories within Kering Group. You would be able to work closely with other brands within Kering Group.
Your opportunity
The Indirect Procurement Manager will have the following key responsibilities
Manage sourcing and commercial on Indirect categories in Japan
- Creating values for all Kering brands through strategic indirect procurement projects to ensure internal stakeholders’ satisfaction
- Initiating the procurement strategic sourcing plans, communicating and working together with brand stakeholders to resolve roadblocks ensuring prompt initiative implementation
- Support local, regional, and global stakeholders in realizing objectives and implementing functional strategies
- Lead commercial negotiations & project implementation for major CAPEX spend across both Japan & Korea
Stakeholder Management in Japan
Lead, initiate and drive indirect procurement plans partnering with key stakeholdersMaintain an expertise in the geographic and category specific to the area of responsibility. Interface locally with all Kering brands stakeholders to establish strong relationships as an indirect procurement expert and advisorDevelop and maintain industry / market knowledge (i.e. be the subject matter expert). Know the market, plant spends, priorities, needs, etc.Coordinate and take ownership of regional spends in indirect procurement projectsPromote indirect procurement guidelines and exchange of best practices professionallySupplier Management
Manage quality and risks of service and goods being subscribedDrive and enhance vendor performance through continuous optimization effortsBring new mindset and share successful regional strategic indirect procurement experience from relevant industryHow you will contribute
Operations
Lead procurement projects in partnership with Kering Japan brand stakeholders, encompassing specification of work, sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and roll-outPlan, execute, and report on allocated procurement categories in Japan to deliver competitive advantage for Kering brands and corporate, focusing on cost-saving, process optimization, and innovation.Select and manage supplier performance and compliance, ensuring alignment with Compliance, CSR, Security, Legal, and Finance departmentsSupport the relevant method and operational procedure for selected projects aligned with the Group Procurement GuidelinesDevelop cost saving and process improvement strategies on both group and brand levelEstablish best practice and benchmarks throughout brands by creation, steering and continuous involvement of stakeholdersProvide regular project reports and performance in timely mannerBudgeting and Reporting
Prepare and manage the budget for Indirect Procurement activities in the regionReport projects and performance, providing quantitative and qualitative outcomesCommunication
Ensure proper external communication with suppliers and internal communication within Kering about procurement projects, selected suppliers and agreement conditions, adhering to Purchasing guidelines.Who you are?
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience gained from multi-entity and / or cross functional environment in procurement / SCM field in Japanese marketExperience in planning, executing and managing both OPEX and CAPEX tenders complying with designated guidelines and rulesExperience working in a global organizationStrong negotiation skillsConfidence and credibility with excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholdersBachelor’s degreeGeneral knowledge of processesGood management and leadership abilityStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsProactive, rigorous & responsiveness, decision-making capabilityFluent in Japanese and business level EnglishWhy work with us?
