Driving group - wide risk management activities

In our Risk Management Department, we focus on three main activities in our approach to risk management. (The hiring position will be considered based on your experience and aptitude.)

• Enterprise Risk Management. (ERM)
• Incident Management.
• Promotion of BCP / BCM structure and Crisis Response activities.

This position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise as a risk management specialist in a global company. Specifically, you will be involved in the following tasks.

Conduct risk analysis and risk assessment related to the selection of Rakuten Group's top risks, and monitor the implementation of action plans to reduce the occurrence of risks.

Work Environment

Our team consists of 3 people (2 in their 40s and 1 in his / her 20s), and is made up of mid-career and new graduate hires.

Mandatory Qualifications :

The ability to use logical thinking and analytical skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions to complex problems.

Ability to convey risk-related information to relevant departments and management in an easy-to-understand manner and to communicate smoothly.

Ability to make persuasive presentations on the results of risk assessments and response measures to gain the understanding and cooperation of stakeholders.

Proficiency in standard software such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Able to read and understand English documents required for work and communicate by e-mail.

Desired Qualifications :

Experience of negotiating and coordinating with overseas group companies and business partners.
