Job Description Job / Group Overview：

• Adhocな業務が求められるため、幅広い経験ができます。
• Financial controllers play an important role of preparing and disclosing accurate and appropriate financial statements for all stakeholders including shareholders, lenders, rating agencies and board members. As the role is closely linked to Nomura Group’s corporate value, the job responsibilities are viewed as having significant importance for the running of the business.
• Financial controllers perform a wide range of duties including preparation and publishing the consolidated financial statements for USGAAP.
• On the other hand, in order to execute this, there is a need to pursue global consistency and efficient business operations, and it is necessary to develop a target operating model independently from the closing operations. Therefore, the ability to coordinate opinions with various internal departments and auditing firms, as well as strong global communication and execution skills, is important.
• Furthermore, since ad-hoc tasks are also required beyond just the closing operations, there will be an opportunity to gain a wide range of experience.
