The position

As a Public Affairs, Therapeutic Policy Specialist / Manager, your responsibilities will include :

  • Lead the research and strategic analysis of disease-related public policies.
  • Establish and maintain high-level relationships with government agencies, industry associations, patient groups, and other policy-related external stakeholders. Additionally, collaborate and coordinate with related departments within the organisation to drive policy initiatives.
  • Respond and adapt promptly to regulatory changes and provide strategic guidance.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on industry trends and market perceptions.
  • Lead the planning and management of events and meetings, prepare and review policy proposals and reports, Deliver internal and external presentations on disease-related public policy.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in Public Relations, Politics, Business Management, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.
  • Proven experience in negotiating with government agencies, industry associations or academia groups required.
  • Native level Japanese is required.
  • Must have strong business English proficiency.
