The Job

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for aligning the organization’s business objectives with its people strategy through partnerships with both management and employees. This role acts as an HR Subject Matter Expert, a Change Agent, and People Champion.

Reporting to the East Asia HR the incumbent will work closely with key stakeholders and leadership in Japan, and the HR team within the region in setting priorities, promoting the company’s culture, and delivering business results. The primary objective of this role is to implement the delivery of HR strategies in Japan

  • The Profile

  • Min with a Degree in any studies.
  • At least 10 years of progressive work experience in full cycle HR Management and at least 3 years in a management capacity
  • Experience in fast paced and high growth multinational organizations・
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, procedures, and best practices as well as employment law Ability to take lead with minimum supervision
  • Good written and verbal communication in Japanese and English
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Credible experience serving as a strategic business partner to organizational leaders across all facets of HR including talent acquisition, total rewards, employee / industrial relations, learning and development, and people and performance management.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Successful track record in stakeholder engagement and project management.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of regulations, accepted professional standards, and local legislations (including legislation on employment, data protection, and health & safety).
  • Knowledgeable about identifying, tracking, analyzing, and improving key HR performance metrics / KPIs
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments.
