Job Summary

Lead the Future of IT Governance as a Senior Governance Head in Japan

Are you a seasoned professional with over 10-15 years of experience in IT Governance and Risk Management? We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Governance Head to join our dynamic, internationally recognized company and drive strategic governance improvements across five key regions : AM, EU, CN, AS, and JP.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Global IT Regulation Management : Inventory and evaluate IT regulations in AM, EU, CN, AS, and JP, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Policy Development : Improve and manage company-wide IT regulations, establishing an IT policy framework (IT policy house).
  • Governance Enhancement : Review, improve, and execute business processes to strengthen overall governance.
  • Audit Process Documentation : Document various audit processes, maintain related documents, and issue guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Risk Management : Collaborate with company-wide risk management teams to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Strategic IT Planning : Support in defining IT objectives, ensuring their inclusion in IT vision and mission statements, and implementation in strategic IT plans.

    • Top Skills Required :

  • Extensive Experience : 10-15+ years of experience in IT Governance and Risk Management.
  • Bilingual Proficiency : Strong bilingual skills with at least business-level Japanese.
  • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with SOX, COBIT, and TOGAF frameworks.

    • Location : Japan (applicants must be located in Japan).
