Details of the Division and Team :

HCM Business Advisory supports HR strategies and initiatives across the bank. It is also a key enabler of effective delivery of the banks HR strategy through the provision of expert knowledge and support on HR policies, programmes, processes, people strategy and ensures consistent application of HR best practice.

Your key responsibilities :

This role will double hat 2 responsibilities : Business Advisor (BA) and Early Career Recruiting. HCM Business Advisory supports HR strategies and initiatives across the bank. It is also a key enabler of effective delivery of the banks HR strategy through the provision of expert knowledge and support on HR policies, programmes, processes, people strategy and ensures consistent application of HR best practice. As Early Career Recruiter, responsible for develop and execute strategies for campuses recruiting for Japan in line with overall group wide strategy / activities.

Responsibility for the delivery of HR Services.

Working with stakeholders in implementing people agenda initiatives, providing advice to employees and managers on people topics, providing guidance on HR policies and processes (incl. ensuring compliance) and overall responsibility for lifecycle measures.

Working with the business and specialist HR product areas to achieve bank-wide human capital management goals. Examples may include but are not limited to; restructuring, diversity and talent acquisition and retention initiatives, supporting performance management activity, leadership capabilities, management of employee relations cases and consequence management and key partner in the year-end compensation and promotion process.

Supporting and driving organizational change and restructuring initiatives and work with respective stakeholders.

Supporting the global processes, also in country e.g. year-end compensation and promotion process and talent management, ensuring fair and consistent decisions are made with appropriate business management governance and ownership.

Works with Talent Acquisition to support the business in hiring initiatives, including recruitment of key / senior positions.

Be part of Organisation Development initiatives such as Employer branding, corporate events, ERG etc

Develop and execute strategies for campuses recruiting in line with overall group wide strategy / activities.

Manage all core Program processes from end-to-end including demand planning, scheduling, branding and advertisement, selection, onboarding and stakeholder engagement.

Oversee the annual budget submissions and ensure effective tracking and monitoring of the allocated budgets for all graduate programmes.

Take charge of the entire recruitment and selection process, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and candidates.

Manage MSP on day to day basis for candidates using CMS (Candidate Management System), Reporting, Interview Coordination, follow up event etc and act as escalation point when necessary.

Facilitate the onboarding process for selected candidates such as contract management, ensuring a seamless transition into their new roles such as Intern and / or Graduate program.

Participate in regional or global project where necessary to represent Japan such as interview form / assessment tool review and localization.

Ensure adherence to regulatory elements of recruiting & hiring policies and conduct training if necessary.

Organize local onboarding program (April Training) and work with global training team to support admin for global induction program.

Your skills and experience :

Experienced HR Professional (5-10 years of HR experience either HR BP and / or EC recruiter), ideally in a large matrix company.

Financial Industry experience preferred.

Client, business, and commercial acumen

Senior stakeholder management experience and ability to communicate with stakeholders across different business areas

Experienced and comfortable with working in working in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation and facilitation skills both in English and Japanese
