Position Description
You will be part of our Customer Project Management department and support Solutions Architects department.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will accompany strategic customers throughout the implementation of pre-sales and complex post-sales projects, ensuring that technical aspects are properly considered.
You will work directly with our strategic customers for the successful integration of our product portfolio and providing technical first level support. You will lead the work of the internal project team (Project Leads, SW engineers, quality engineers, Solutions Architect).
This role requires an energetic, motivated and extremely pro-active individual who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
In this role, you will :
- Accompany customers in defining their needs and designing solutions (pre-sales)
- Provide technical first level support such as setting-up demo-systems, root-cause-analysis and triaging of issues, maintaining customer system with SW updates (pre-sales & post-sales)
- Lead technical teams in project implementation (pre-sales & post-sales) throughout the project life cycle, including planning, release scheduling, resource allocation, scope, risk and change management
- Manage project risks, timelines, and customer satisfaction, and report project status towards customer and internally
- Work in a hands-on manner with customers to ensure close collaboration, information exchange, smooth and successful project completion, etc.
- Participate in remote and on-site meetings with customers
- Proactively identify, prioritize and drive the resolution of project and customer issues
- Collaborate with the Sales, Business Development and Product Management teams for pre-sales, sales, and any scope change
What you will need to succeed :
College / university degree and 5+ years of experience in project management with fundamental knowledge in terms of project management methodologiesMinimum 5 years of experience in embedded domain with at least one of the programming languages C++ / KotlinExperience with doing business with Japanese customers and partnersExperience with Android and IVI systems, in automotive industry, is a plusAbility to handle several projects in parallel, as separate ones and as a programUnderstanding of software engineering processes with complex technical issuesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for efficient collaboration with internal and external stakeholders with ability to work in a highly collaborative and client-centric mannerWell-organised person with high attention to detail, self-motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervisionProficiency in English and native JapaneseCinemo is a global provider of highly innovative infotainment products that make every screen an opportunity.
