As part of a small and agile team, your role as part of the Innovation team is to work with various stakeholders OEM, new mobility players, startup, academia, associations, etc. ), and Valeo teams to conceptualize and deliver proof of concept systems mainly but not limited to automotive that add value to the vehicles and cities of tomorrow.

This is a hands-on role and the expectation is that you will lead by doing. This role is for an experienced professional engineer with Automotive Systems and software design experience. They have working knowledge of E / E architecture, automotive networks, EV architectures. They have experience working in product development teams.

Responsibility :

Implement technical concepts & align / motivate the internal relevant stakeholders for quick actions (quick prototype, etc) to verify the feasibility & business case

Help the company to identify / understand and follow up the new developing trends in the transportation & relevant industries.

For the identified direction, map the stakeholders and build the relevant ecosystem contacts with the relevant stakeholders.

New business proposal and definition : combine the market understanding and Valeo groups strength, come up with new business proposals and define Valeo's value proposition within the ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Analytical & strategy thinking capability together with hands on attitude.

Familiar with smart devices & software products, working experience in product definition, business modeling

Strong presentation & communication skills

Business development is preferred

Gaming background is preferred

Software geeks are most welcome.

LANGUAGE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS and so on

Japanese (Native / N1 / N2)

English ( Native / any relevant proficiency tests that attest to business level)

M.Sc in Science or Engineering
