We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Language Specialist to join our team, with a focus on the Japanese language. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing language assets’ logic and coherence, grammar and punctuation, spelling, consistency, style, language usage, and formatting, improving customer streaming experience with Amazon language solutions and process-centered approaches. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, proofreading and editing risk reports, engineering correspondence, and a variety of other written and electronic communications.

Key job responsibilities
- Conduct Linguistic Quality Assurance check based on Multidimensional Quality Metrics - MQM on subtitles to ensure overall content quality.
- Assist in the development and implementation of language-related technology / products to ensure consistency and quality of Japanese language services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand language requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in the field of language services, particularly related to the streaming and entertainment industry.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of language processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's Japanese language capabilities.
- Provide guidance and training to other team members on Japanese language-related matters, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Multidimensional Quality Metrics(MQM)に基づき、音声、字幕、ナレーション、映像、アートワークの言語品質保証チェックを実施し、コンテンツ全体の品質を確保します。
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications2+ years of full-time professional experienceAdvanced proficiency in Japanese (native speaker level) and English, with a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural sensitivities in both languages.Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.Microsoft Officeおよびアプリケーションの使用経験2年以上の正社員としての実務経験PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
