Job description
We are currently seeking a candidate who will join a new team in our Tokyo offices and will directly support business development activities, client engagement delivery, and development of junior consultants. The ideal candidate will have experience and qualifications as described below, equivalent to Manager level. Ideally, this candidate would be able to join our Tokyo offices in early January
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- 7+ years of combined experience in management consulting and in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of financial services domains, including securities, banking, insurance, and / or asset and wealth management
- Experience in technology implementation, business process improvement, operating model analysis and design, digital marketing, and / or market & client analysis programs
- Demonstrated analytical skills and familiarity with problem-solving techniques
- Confident, articulate, and self-directed communicator with clients at all levels of seniority
- Client relationship management experience with a focus on managing client expectations
- Project / program management experience, preferably as lead PM
- People management / development experience – particularly in building capabilities of and mentoring junior consultants
- Bilingual (Japanese & English). At least N1 Japanese required (Native Japanese language skills desired) and at least business level English language skills required.
Desired Qualifications :
Project Management Certification (i.e. PMP, PRINCE2)Experience in and understanding of data governance and cybersecurity for financial institutionsFamiliarity with Financial / Investment Systems (I-STAR, Bloomberg, Murex etc.)Additional information
