THE ROLEThe Consumer PR Lead will be a key member of the Consumer Communications team, leading PMI's product and brand launch projects and developing and executing consumer communications campaigns through the media. They will also work with agencies to pitch stories to sports newspapers, gadget, technology, and lifestyle media and build strong media relationships. Additionally, they must be able to work as a team and be able to smoothly build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 1.Develop, execute, and manage a consumer communications plan under the supervision of the Consumer PR Manager. Scope includes.

• Develop consumer and media plans.
• Management of PR agency (Preparation, briefing and execution of PR activities at product launch.)
• Work with cross-functional teams and outside PR and event firms to execute product launches and support commercial initiatives.2.Prepare summary reports of media events with reporting tool. Scope includes :
• Collect PR results working with PR agency and media monitoring service / reporting tool.
• Analyze the results and identify lessons learned and consider the learnings for future media activities.
• Create summary reports for reporting to management.3.Support Consumer PR Manager on budget management
• Manage budget for programs the Lead and Executive is running.4.Support Consumer PR Manager on quarterly performance report
• Work with Consumer PR Manager and Communications team to prepare quarterly performance report with KPIs and result analysis.5.Lead projects to ensure smooth execution within the team
• Ensure related business / PR knowledge transfer as support of the manager QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 5 years of professional experience in Consumer Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, and / or Marketing.
• Solid experience in working with multiple functions and experience in running media launches.
• Strong ability to deliver message effectively, verbally and in writing, in both Japanese and English.
• Native level Japanese skills (written and verbal)
