Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Data Engineer to join our technology department in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation.

Description

Develop and maintain sustainable data driven systems and processes.
Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
Test systems for accuracy and efficiency.
Use advanced technology to extract and process data.
Improve data foundational procedures, guidelines and standards.
Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Contribute to project planning and implementation.
Ensure data compliance and security measures are upheld.

Profile

A successful Data Engineer should have :

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java.

A deep understanding of databases and best engineering practices.

Experience in data modeling and architecture.

Proficiency in handling large data sets in a business environment.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

An innovative mindset and a problem-solving approach.
