We are seeking a dedicated and talented Data Engineer to join our technology department in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation.

Description

  • Develop and maintain sustainable data driven systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
  • Test systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use advanced technology to extract and process data.
  • Improve data foundational procedures, guidelines and standards.
  • Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to project planning and implementation.
  • Ensure data compliance and security measures are upheld.

Profile

A successful Data Engineer should have :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • A deep understanding of databases and best engineering practices.
  • Experience in data modeling and architecture.
  • Proficiency in handling large data sets in a business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • An innovative mindset and a problem-solving approach.
