Job Summary
We are looking for a Channel Sales Manager to lead and execute our channel strategy in Japan. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in channel management, a proven record in building partner networks, and strong relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Channel Strategy : Create and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy aligned with business goals. Identify key target markets and potential partners in Japan.Recruit & Manage Partners : Onboard new partners (resellers, distributors) and maintain strong relationships with existing ones to drive growth.Achieve Sales Targets : Set and manage revenue goals for channel partners. Analyze performance and take action to meet or exceed targets.Enable Partners : Provide training, sales tools, and ongoing support to help partners effectively sell our solutions.Market Insights : Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine strategies and discover new opportunities.Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, and support teams to align channel efforts.Reporting : Deliver regular performance updates and insights to management.Budget Management : Manage the channel sales budget and optimize resource allocation for ROI.Required Qualifications
5+ years in sales or business development3+ years in food service, hospitality tech (POS, delivery apps, etc.)Experience with franchises, large restaurant chains, or enterprise F&B accountsProven success in channel or key account salesStrong leadership, communication, and analytical skillsFluent in both Japanese and EnglishBachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred
Experience with hardware / SaaSStrong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skillsThrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
