About Organization
The International Business Department is responsible for designing, building, managing, and enhancing international products and services for both consumers and businesses. The team sets the product vision and plans, defines the user experience, and creates go-to-market strategies. Since the team consists of members from various nationalities, it offers the opportunity to work in a global environment.
This Business Unit holds ownership for designing, building, managing and enhancing international products and services for end users (consumer & enterprise). The teams will be responsible for developing product vision and roadmap, defining user experience and creating go-to market strategies.
We work closely we various stakeholders across functions like Sales & Marketing, UIUX, Legal, Regulatory, Engineering, IT, Financial and Accounting etc.
Interconnect Wholesale & Product Management Department
Responsible to grow and enhance the SMS Interconnect business SMS, to drive the business objectives and improve customer experience.
Job Duties
Job Overview]
Communication with domestic and international B2B customers (Japanese & English)
Coordination with internal departments such as the engineering team (Japanese & English)
Language Requirements]
While communication within the team and with various departments is primarily conducted in English, interactions with Japanese customers will be in Japanese. Therefore, proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
Other Responsibilities]
In addition to customer support, you will be responsible for :
Customer support
Monthly invoice issuance requests
Website updates as needed
Conducting market analysis for new business creation
Developing product vision and roadmap
Defining user experience
Creating go-to-market strategies
Legal Tasks :
Reviewing and drafting contracts with customers and vendors.
Ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations
Advising on intellectual property matters (e.g., trademarks, copyrights).
Monitoring and addressing potential legal risks and liabilities.
Staying up to date on relevant laws and regulations.

Internal : Engineering team, various departments within the company.
External : B2B customers (domestic and international)
Scope of Responsibilities]
Customer Support : Manage communication and inquiries from customers.
Internal Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions and support.
Administrative Tasks : Handle invoice issuance requests, update the website, and manage the onboarding of new customers.
Business Development : Conduct market analysis and develop strategies for new business opportunities. Reviewing and drafting contracts with customers and vendors. Ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
English Usage Scenarios]
Internal Communication : Daily interactions with the team and other departments.
Customer Support : Handling inquiries and onboarding processes for international customers.
Document Creation : Issuing invoice requests, updating the website, and creating strategies for new business development.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, preferably in a business operations or customer service role
Proficient in Japanese (Spoken and Written) & English (Spoken & Written)
Self-motivated, positive and proactive in taking initiative
Diligent attention to detail and ability to multitask
Fast learner with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners
Strong analytical skills and data analysis skills.
