Visual Creative Expert – Japan Game Publishing

ResponsibilitiesJoin ByteDance’s Japan Publishing Team within our Gaming Division. We are responsible for the end-to-end marketing and publishing of all ByteDance game titles in the Japanese market. Responsibilities : 1. Art Direction & Creative Management : - Serve as the visual creative lead for ByteDance’s game publishing efforts in Japan. - Develop marketing art guidelines based on product characteristics and local user preferences. -Work closely with ByteDance’s game publishing team in China. - Oversee production pipelines, ensure the quality of marketing assets, and manage day-to-day art deliverables. 2. Cross-functional Collaboration : - Understand core principles of game publishing and marketing workflows. - Coordinate with marketing, product, and user acquisition teams to align creative outputs with business objectives. 3. Vendor Management : - Build and manage a network of high-quality art vendors and freelancers. - Select the most cost-effective and culturally aligned resources to meet Japan market demands. 4. Hands-on Creation : - Possess strong art creation and visual design skills. - Capable of taking the lead on critical or urgent asset creation, visual polishing, or creative troubleshooting when needed.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications : 1. At least3+ years of experience in art or visual design within the gaming industry. 2. Highly responsible and capable of working under pressure, comfortable with flexible schedules, frequent travel (domestic / international), and long-term relocation if needed. 3. Deep enthusiasm for gaming and marketing, familiarity with mobile games is essential. 4. Proficiency in Japanese. Preferred Qualifications : 1. Experience in a marketing or publishing team is a strong plus. 2. Preference for candidates who are avid consumers of anime or "ACGN" (Anime,Comics,Games, Novels) culture. 3. Fluent in Mandarin, Chinese (Business-level) for effective communication and partnerships with publishing teams across the China InformationAbout Us
