AVS、ベンダーマネージャー、日本のコンシューマーイノベーションパートナーチームと協力し、最も戦略的なベンダーの成長の優先順位と機会を合意します。

Amazon成長ソリューション(有料ベンダーサービス)の新設された営業機能の一部です。セールスサイクル全般を担当し、eコマースや商業経験を活かして、ベンダーの事業目標達成をサポートします。

As an Amazon Growth Solutions (AGS) Sr. Business Development Manager you will be responsible for negotiating with and driving adoption of our set of paid growth services amongst the largest and fastest growing vendors in Japan. The Amazon Growth Services team interacts with leading companies to define strategic objectives and growth opportunities for complex vendors. In this role, you will autonomously manage the prospecting, pitch and onboarding of vendors in Japan onto our suite of paid growth services as part of a newly created Go To Market team.

You will be a critical partner for our vendors, leveraging your experience influencing C-suite executives to work with senior leaders of our largest vendors. You will align on the optimal set of growth solutions and negotiate associated fees. You are responsible for driving product and program adoption, incremental revenue and growth from vendors.

Alongside vendors, you will interface with AVS, Vendor Managers and Japan Consumer Innovation partner teams to agree growth priorities and opportunities for our most strategic vendors.

The ideal candidate is comfortable influencing senior-level external stakeholders, possesses strong sales skills, has a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth and is comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment.

You will be part of a newly created sales function within Amazon Growth Solutions (Paid Vendor services). This role is responsible for the full sales cycle; you will utilize your sales and ecommerce / commercial experience to proactively engage vendors to help them meet their business objectives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Use knowledge of Amazon Growth Solutions products to create tailored proposals for vendors.
  • Hit or exceed conversion and growth targets for vendors.
  • Achieve vendor experience objectives and goals.
  • Own all facets of the sales cycle including account management process for medium to large accounts.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key points of contact including C suite executives.
  • Support the evolution of Amazon Growth Solutions in partnership with product managers to iterate based on vendor feedback and requirements.
  • Advocate for vendors internally and work cross functionally within Japan Consumer Innovation to drive vendor success.
  • Educate vendors on performance metrics, campaign trends / approaches and consumer insights using Growth Solutions products.
  • Analyse and interpret vendor performance on Amazon Growth Solutions to identify improvement areas, recommendations and opportunities to cross-sell or renew vendor contracts on Amazon Growth Solutions.

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of digital sales, account management, business development, or partner management experience
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Experience managing and growing complex business relationship at scale
  • Fluency in Japanese (oral and written) to establish credibility with external business stakeholders; Proficiency in English (oral and written) to communicate internally
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs
