Job descriptionProvide accurate financial data to internal and external parties in a timely manner. Manage corporate tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate tax returns, taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes / policies. Oversee inter-company transfer pricing documentation on the legal entity level and align with the global tax department. Prepare BEPS local file and submit it to the tax authority in a timely manner. Direct maintenance of fixed asset records and related depreciation accounts in accordance with the local tax law. Oversee actual counting of fixed assets. Undertake analyses on financial operational results to provide information and recommendation to management according to the defined scope and approaches. Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to other units within the financial / tax disciplines. Participate in a wide variety of special projects by providing financial recommendations. Keep up-to-date awareness of government / corporate / company regulation development to ensure the financial compliance and adherence of all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Commerce) Certified tax accountant preferred Experience in finance reporting as well as audit procedure > Annual financial closing process Preparation of J-GAAP based financial statements Preparation of tax returns including BEPS local file Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) as an user
Objective of the Position
The main areas for the job scope include financial reporting compliance for group reporting and overseeing legal compliance including tax filing, IFRS / J-GAAP closing and internal control as well as driving process optimization for financial reporting.
