Job Title :HR ManagerOrganisation structure :Human Resource & AdministrationReports directly to :Country ManagerOther reporting to :Regional HR DirectorLocation :Shin-Yokohama, JapanPurpose of the Job / Job MissionBeing a valued member of the leadership team responsible for supporting the organization in achieving success for growth and effective workforce. Perform as proactive partner with the business to maximize organizational performance through the development and implementation of HR strategies and plans, and leading the HR team in delivering high value HR services across the organization.Essential FunctionsBenefitsManage related enquiries on employee benefits including leave, medical, and health checkup.Manage employee health and welfare matters.International Assignment / Foreign HireWork closely with regional HR team in Singapore to ensure IA and foreign local hire management is in line with policy and guidelines.Performance Management & CompensationReview objectives setting for employees to ensure adherence to the Employee Performance Management & SMART guidelines.Handle monthly payroll activities including update of employee records, overtime pay, generate reports.Maintain and update the payroll database for BYOK staff and auxiliary.Work with Country Manager and Regional HR Director on annual salary review and bonus review process.Recruitment, On-boarding & ExitResponsible for recruitment activities which includes advertising, employment agency management, resume screening, interviewing, selecting, salary benchmarking and recommendations, conducting reference checks, offering and negotiating.Prepare welcome package and conduct new employee orientation.Prepare letters for new employment, confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation and termination.Manage exit procedure in compliance with local labour law.Learning & DevelopmentSupport Managers in learning and development needs of employees including recommendation, sourcing of external training and program evaluation.Review and plan external training program.Work with Country Manager, Line Managers and SEA Learning Centre hub for nomination of internal trainings.Employee RelationsMaintain employee grievance and prepare warning letter if needed.Prepare retrenchment process and severance payment to ensure the process are in line with government regulations.Maintain company regulations to ensure the company regulations are adhere to group and government regulations.Maintain permits and legal requirements related to HR to ensure all permits and requirements are fulfilled and valid.Office ManagementSupervision of HRA Officer and Assistant.Contact point to other entities for operations related matters.Reporting & SurveyTimely update of SuccessFactors for changes in employee data such as new hire and exit.Monthly headcount update and report.Participate in HR related surveys.OthersSupport improvements in HR related work processes, benefit scheme and policies review.Drive HR projects roll out.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAgile mind-set and ability to multi-taskAbility to work independently and as a teamExcellent communication skills, both spoken and written effective in dealing with different levels in the organization as well as different culturesProactive and positive attitude with continuous improvement mindset to drive changesExperience and knowledge on all the end-to-end HR topicsProficiency on Japanese Labor LawHigh degree of discretion when dealing with confidential informationIT savvy and familiar with commercial HR softwareMeticulous, analytical and good problem-solving skillsPro-active, flexible and adaptableStrong business acumen and HRBP mind-set to enable business through alignment with HR strategiesExperienceMandatoryAt least 7 years of HR generalist experienceExperience in office management / administrationDesirableExperience working in multinational companiesTools : Microsoft Office and internal software such as SuccessFactorsGood experience in employer branding and partnership with universitiesAble to work under pressure Qualifications :Educational RequirementsMandatoryDegree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related courseGood knowledge of local labor law and social insuranceDesirableGood command in business English level Why is This a Great Opportunity : You will join a reputable and stable Swiss MNC with a good cultureSalary TypeMonthlySalary Min10000000Salary Max13500000Currency Type
