Business Overview

The Marketing Division leads brand, creative,marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.

We believe that the mobile domain is a platform thatplays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.

Department Overview

Marketing Planning Department is an organization that leads the planning of Rakuten Mobile's plans and product strategies and their implementation.

Main job is planning companywide strategic & leading discussions with the CEO and other executives.

By utilizing the coordinated plan of our group of over 70 services and our customer base of over 100 million, this position will be responsible for planning and executing growth strategies.

We started our mobile business with the aim of democratizing the mobile market, and now we have over 6 million subscriptions and are aiming for further growth. By joining us during the business expansion phase, you will gain experience that you cannot get anywhere else.

Position : Position Details

As a Service Planning and Promotion Member, you will be entrusted with the following tasks related to Rakuten Mobile, depending on your experience and skills.

  • Decision-makingwith management regarding company-wide strategy
  • Formulate pricing plan strategy
  • Promotion of cross-organizational projects
  • Planning and implementation of analysis and improvement measures
  • Collaboration and negotiation with each related partner company regarding option service

Mandatory Qualifications :

  • Experience in strategic planning, business planning, etc.
  • Those who have experience in consulting, the president's office of a business company, or corporate planning.
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Project management experience
  • Logical thinking and planning skills
  • Flexible communication, negotiation, and bargaining skills both internal and external
  • Ability to flexibly respond to changes in the environment, and to lead solutions by running on one's own while coordinating with all related parties.
  • Business English
  • Experience in telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge and experience in the mobile industry
