Job Description

You will join our team to create a brand new IP, “KEMURI”, full of expressive visual effects that captivate the imagination of players and audiences around the world.
The ideal candidate for this position is dedicated to each aspect of development, from ideation to the visualization, creation, and implementation of real-time visual effects. If you want an opportunity to work on the development of graphic animation as a core team member for a new IP, look no further.
We are looking for a VFX Artist who pushes the boundaries of expression with exceptional artistry and all-around talent to create stylized visual effects that go beyond realism.
Responsibilities
- Visualize, create and implement real-time visual effects
- Create effects that work optimally on the target platform
- Participate in the project’s effects planning phase
- Collaborate with the Technical team to build the effects production pipeline
- Collaborate with other development teams to create groundbreaking effects
- Provide artistic and technical feedback
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with teams from other departments
- Manage effects related assets
- Coordinate and manage effects-related tasks
Requirements
Unreal Engineでの開発ツールの使用経験2D FX アニメーションの経験 (手描き、After Effects のフリップブックなど)。VFXアーティストとして5年以上のゲーム業界経験VFXアーティストとして、AAAタイトルの出荷経験HoudiniやBlenderなどを使用したエフェクト用メッシュの作成経験PlusesHoudiniのツール、パーティクル、シミュレーションの使用経験Skills & Requirements
Experience with Unreal EngineExperience and advanced knowledge in developing stylized effectsExperience with 2D FX animation (hand-drawn, After Effects flipbooks, etc.)Expertise in creating shader graphs for animated materials5+ years of professional experience in game development as a VFX ArtistShipped a AAA title as a VFX ArtistExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple departments, as well as mentor other artistsStrong artistic eye for weight, realism, and energy, and a deep understanding of particle motion, timing, and scaleBusiness level English and / or Japanese. Japanese language ability is preferred.Experience in creating meshes for effects using Houdini, Blender, etc.Knowledgeable of relevant game technology trends and animation styles.A strong proactive and collaborative personality, eager to contribute unique ideas to the projectExcellent collaboration and communication skillsPlusesExperience with animating destruction sequences of props / structuresProfessional experience with Houdini tools, particles, and simulation
