FICC and Equities enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

Asset Management provides institutional and individual investors with investment and advisory solutions, with strategies spanning asset classes, industries, and geographies. We help our clients navigate today’s dynamic markets, and identify the opportunities that shape their portfolios and long-term investment goals. We extend these global capabilities to the world’s leading pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, individuals and family offices. The Asset Management Division also invests in corporate equity and corporate debt, real estate equity, and real estate debt and infrastructure worldwide. Additionally, we provide asset management services to investments where Goldman Sachs has an interest. Consisting of hundreds of professionals in multiple offices around the world, our business operates on a global platform.

Private Wealth Management specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach.

Corporate Treasury  manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet and capital to maximize net interest income and return on equity through liability planning and execution, financial resource allocation, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelors’ Degree or higher.
• Over 4 years’ experience in a similar role with experience of closing Real Estate Transactions.
• Ability to review and abstract purchase and sale agreements and various other key real estate documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Experience monitoring the due diligence process and ensuring critical timelines and requirements are met throughout each stage of a deal closing.
• Experience liaising with external counsel and various external parties on document preparation, creation of sources and uses of funds and closing requirements.
• Working with internal business teams to ensure transaction adheres to all necessary compliance rules and regulations.
• Managing document execution and delivery.
• Physically attend closing / settlement meetings.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable in a high-pressure environment.
• Native level in both written and spoken Japanese. Confident in English communication.
