PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY :
Provides primarily pre-sales / beta unit technical support for the development and implementation of complex products / applications / solutions.
Technical Communications :
- Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Understand customer requirements, use-case and high value problems and finalize detailed specifications
- Prepare and present design reviews to our customers, so they have a clear understanding of the technical scope that we provide.
- Work objectively as a team member to quickly respond to customer needs, answering questions from customers about all aspects of our products.
- Build strong relationships with your customers, gaining their confidence to become their trusted advisor for automation.
Regional Engineering :
Develop and deliver product features and performance demonstrations to win opportunitiesLead on-site product evaluationsAssist with Design & Verification Testing (DVT) and Acceptance Test (ATPs)Lead product first-article integrations at customer sites as well as directly working on the products.Assist business unit engineering teams with their customer escalations, using your knowledge of the customers use-case.Debug complex issues with the Field Service staff.CAREER LEVEL :
Experience in building embedded systems for Production Equipment such as mechatronic systems / robotic automation / semiconductor industry / machine tending automation.Understanding of electronic components such as sensors, switches, relays, actuators, etc.Able to understand system-level wiring diagrams.Minimum 3-years' experience in a fast-paced customer-facing technical role.Broad application of principles, theories, concepts, and techniques used in the applicable technical or business discipline and working knowledge of interrelated fields.Develops resolutions to diverse and complex problems very often requiring creativity.Exercises judgment using generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.Frequent inter-organizational and external customer contacts. May represent the organization on projects and interface with customers.Graduated from technical school with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent.Able to travel regionally and internationally as required.Language request : Fluent in Japanese, Intermediate in Englishvalent.
