    You will report directly to the Business Line Manger (BLM) of our Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI) business line, located in Japan, as well as a maintain a strong connection with our AIC(Automation Innovation Center) in Germany and Application Centers such as ICA(Innovation Center Asia) etc...

    About the job

    Your mission is to develop a strong value proposition and business plan to become market leader for solutions for automated tightening applications, supporting our Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI) strategies and product portfolio. Your mission is also to make sure strategic orders are taken as part of developing the business and product portfolio. This will be done in an entrepreneur spirit.

    Your mission includes :

    • Develop our business plan for tightening centric automation solutions by analyzing market trends and using your knowledge of the Manufacturing Industry to provide direction
    • Synchronize and contribute the development plan with the needs and progress of our automation initiative
    • Identifying key projects and applications that add most value to the product portfolio roadmap
    • Selecting key customer projects and supporting local sales in discussions as an expert
    • Initiate and strengthen the network with partners to fill gaps of own portfolio
    • Develop sales competencies within the organization to increase hit rate and customer satisfaction
    • Support new product launch and sales campaigns local
    • Develop together with the product management and the global teams marketing training materials which prove clear customer ROI and value proposition.
    • Support Sales and Key Account Managers in the strategic sales process
    • Home-based in Japan with frequent and flexible physical presence with cross-teams, and your clients in Japan.
    • You will work cross-functional with Sales, Marketing team, all of the MVI team, as well as part of our Germany base(Automation Innovation Center) & Shanghai base etc(Application Center) applying an agile work style. As member of our projects network, you collaborate closely with our Global Business Development Manager Automation, with the HQ for Screw Feeding, as well as with your customers (Customer Centers, Cross- division units, Innovation Center). With those collaborations, you will enable our growth in the automated tightening area, to be “First in mind, First in choice” in the eyes of our customers Japan.

    • What we expect from you

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or business development of technical products with need of explanation, linked to automated assembly solutions
    • Experience in OEM, Tier Industry, MTB and / or Electronics is beneficial
    • Technical academic degree within Engineering or other relevant area and high application knowledge around Automation
    • Excellent written and spoken in Janese and English
    • Team player with good communication skills with different stakeholders, at all levels of hierarchy
    • Willingness to travel customer sight across Japan and travel to innovation centers to build capabilities
    • Pro-active, accountable and result oriented

    • 3年の経験
