iPSC、オルガノイドなどの高次細胞培養、分化技術の開発。

Background to recruitment :

To strengthen the technology research infrastructure and capabilities related to target discovery and creation of new projects in drug discovery research.

Description of work :

Promote the following research in research planning and execution of validation experiments for establishment and application of biologicical technologies, and planning and promotion of drug discovery and technology projects.

The development of cell cultures and differentiation technologies for cell lines, primary cells, iPSCs, and organoids.

Analysis of the effect of in vitro gene perturbation by applying genome editing technology, etc. on cell function, differentiation, and regeneration, and establishment of related technologies.

Creation of drug discovery ideas based on internal and external databases and knowledge, and planning of projects. Improvement of validation experiment infrastructure. 応募資格／Qualifications 求める経験

Desired experience :

Expertise in cells related to immunology / inflammation, fibrosis, cancer, regeneration, etc. (primary, stem cells or organoids, etc.)

Experience in functional genomics

Experience in establishing mouse disease models, phamacological evaluation and MoA analysis

Experience in proposing and leading drug discovery projects is even more desirable

Python, R、等のプログラミングスキルがあると望ましい

Desired skills / knowledge / abilities :

Ph.D. or corresponding expertise with a master's degree in a field of Medicine, Pharmacology, Engineering or Biology

Skills for primary cells or stem cells or organoids culturing as well as inducing diffrentiation

Biological knowledge for understanding tissue function, disease and drug's MoA.　Utilization of public database for target discovery and understanding of disease pathogenesis.

Knowledge of gene functional analysis and gene network analysis using genome editing and omics technology

Programing skills (Python, R, etc.) are more desirable

Desired competencies :

Being interested in changes in the external environment, gather a wide range of necessary information, analyze and extract the essential issues that need to be addressed, and derive solutions to those issues.

Clearly communicate scientific facts and ideas to group members and / or project stakeholders to elicit cooperation and solve problems
