Background to recruitment :

Chugai Discovery Chemistry is developing mid-size molecule drugs in addition to small molecule drugs, whose structures are becoming more diverse and complex each year. A unique and rational synthetic route must be established to accelerate preclinical and clinical research through quick and timely supply of highly complex compounds. Therefore, we are looking for next-generation leaders with expertise in organic synthesis.

Description of work :

Sublimating a new idea to establish a new synthetic route and a scale-up manufacturing method using organic synthesis.

Generating efficient and valuable data by utilizing the cutting-edge synthetic and analytical technologies.

Achieving rapid synthesis of candidate compounds in cooperation with Medicinal Chemist and Pharmaceutical Technology Division, and maximizing the value of drug discovery projects through effective cooperation with other functions. 応募資格／Qualifications 求める経験

3年以上の合成原薬プロセス研究業務経験

Desired experience :

At least 3 years of experience in process development

Preferably :

Experience of flow synthesis and scale-up using flow technology

Desired skills / knowledge / abilities :

A person who can appropriately extract synthesis issues from an overall perspective

A person who can rationally draw up an experimental design for an extracted synthesis issues and appropriately solve the issues by synthetic experiments

Must be able to discuss the area of expertise in English

Desired competencies :

Able to solve issues while proactively facing the most important issues and having fun

Maximize results in a short period of time by prioritizing and reviewing accurately

Solving issues while pursuing overall optimization and involving relevant parties

TOEIC 730点以上）

Desired Qualifications :

Ph.D.

Proficient English skills required (TOEIC score : 730 or above)
