Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accounting Manager for a client in the consumer goods industry. This role involves managing financial closings, handling tax tasks, and leading a team to ensure accurate and compliant accounting operations. The candidate should be well-versed in both US and Japanese accounting standards and possess strong leadership abilities. The job offers a hybrid work setup, providing flexibility and supporting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage monthly and yearly financial closings, including tax expenses and asset / liability entries.
• Conduct thorough accounts reconciliation and prepare financial reports and analysis.
• Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 accounting and tax professionals, ensuring compliance with procedures and SOX regulations.
• Work with global Corporate Finance teams to solve finance and accounting issues and develop solutions.
• Stay updated on US and Japanese GAAP, SOX regulations, and Japanese tax laws, applying this knowledge to policy development and accounting procedures.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Corporate Finance.
