FIX Connectivity Project Manager - Vice President

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FIX Connectivity Expert to join our APAC Technology team as the Tokyo based Business Analyst / Project Manager for a significant expansion in Japan by Jefferies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ULLINK and a strong understanding of Japanese cash equities and equity derivatives (futures and options). You will scope a greenfield build of ULLINK in Japan to connect Japanese and offshore clients to the Jefferies Japan and to connect Jefferies Japan to Jefferies global routing hub. The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery of technical milestones, and provide regular updates to senior management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage FIX connectivity projects focusing on order flow in and out of Japan, acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain FIX connections for clients, brokers, and exchanges.
• Oversee dropcopy connectivity to internal systems, including : Market-side dropcopy Client-side dropcopy Audit stream dropcopy
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of trade data and post-trade information.
• Analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and integration points.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
• Coordinate with global teams to align on standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Deliver regular project updates and strategic reports to senior management.
