The Senior Associate, Procurement Operations for North Asia is responsible for managing the procurement of Finished Goods, Raw and pack materials sourced in Korea.

This position will support and deliver against key Procurement initiatives and is involved in all hands-on aspects of the procurement process.

The position is based in Yokohama, Japan, reports to the North Asia Procurement team and collaborates closely with global and regional procurement portfolio teams.

As a Senior Analyst, Procurement and Supplier Management, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging sourced in Korea within the North Asia region. Based in Yokohama, Japan, you will collaborate closely with global and regional procurement teams to drive key procurement initiatives and ensure seamless procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Obtain quotes and negotiate favorable purchasing terms for finished goods, raw materials, and packaging for the Korean market, primarily working with Korean suppliers.
• Maintain procurement-related internal systems.
• Manage new product introductions and the setup process.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, proactively addressing any issues.
• Prepare procurement expenditure reports and provide insightful analysis.
• Collaborate with global and regional procurement teams to align procurement strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support and deliver on service KPIs.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Center (SSC) Planning and EM for supply assurance.
• Assess, validate, and monitor supplier capacity, providing recommendations and action plans to mitigate risks.
