As an Web Application Project Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of web application development projects. This bilingual role requires you to lead teams and communicate effectively in both Japanese and English , ensuring seamless coordination among developers, designers, and business stakeholders across different geographies. Your expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery will play a pivotal role in achieving our clients’ digital ambitions.
Your missions
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of web application projects.
Liaise with stakeholders in Japanese and English to gather requirements and ensure expectations are met.
Collaborate with development, design, and QA teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely execution.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation : timelines, progress reports, and risk logs.
Monitor and manage project scope, resources, schedules, and budgets.
Identify, address, and resolve conflicts and bottlenecks within project teams.
Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and follow best practices in web development and project management.
Foster collaboration and strong communication across multicultural and cross-functional teams.
Conduct post-project reviews to extract learnings and define improvements for future delivery.
Your profile
Fluent Japanese and English (written and spoken).
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the IT industry, with focus on web application projects.
Proven record of successful delivery in project-based environments.
Strong understanding of web technologies and the software development lifecycle.
Experience with Agile project methodologies and tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.).
Experience leading international and cross-cultural teams.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Academic background : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally if required.
You demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to foster alignment across diverse teams.
