Service Commercial APAC is overall responsible for promoting the continuous and profitable growth in the Service business across Asia Pacific and China (APAC) by selling service solutions for any Renewable Energy assets on- and off-shore from long-term operations & maintenance agreements to transactional sales of Parts & Repair solutions as well as upgrades & performance improvements.
As the (Senior) Service Sales Manager Offshore, APAC you will contribute for delivering on / above the financial sales targets (order intake, revenue & contribution margin) set for the Service Offshore business across APAC. In addition to that, you are expected to promote mid- and long-term commercial growth by supporting to overall position Vestas as the preferred supplier based on our high-quality service offerings in APAC.
Responsibilities
- Delivering on revenue & profitability sales targets
- Spearhead contract negotiations for long term service contracts
- Lead or contribute to the preparation of tender responses or proposals
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in negotiations
- Ensure that the optimal service product mix is identified and offered to the customer
- Implement new Service Sales strategies and improve existing ones
- Prepare contractual and summary documents, both for an external as well as internal
audience
Building and maintaining solid strategic relationships with customers and other key stakeholdersEnsure that customer requests and needs are properly attended to and evaluatedHead or develop presentations of service sales concepts to existing and new customersSupervise the development or improvement of service sales conceptsQualifications
Background study preferred in engineering degree ( mechanical or electrical ) relevant to wind fieldPrevious experience in a commercial role in Offshore Wind of significant advantageRelevant experience in the B2B sales environment, ideally in heavy industry or energy sector (e.g. WTG OEM, utilities, infrastructure, RE project development etc.) of advantageRelevant experience in the energy & power industry of advantageContractual knowledge (Contract Law / FIDIC of advantage)Customer-centric person with great communication skills in English (Japanese is nice to have)Absolutely deal drivenCompetencies
