Summary
Firework is a global start-up in high-growth mode. This role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders and content creation partners to develop, test, and optimize the content and messaging. This person will lead the development, execution, and assessment of innovative, results-oriented marketing initiatives, including B2B content marketing and digital marketing for the Japan market to maximize our inbound leads and opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
- You will be responsible for developing and leading demand generation and marketing strategies and programs that your team will execute
- You will work closely with Firework’s leadership, and each team leads to develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics that drive revenue and align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, account management, and executive leadership, to align marketing efforts with business objectives and drive measurable results.
- Develop a content strategy that aligns with our target audience's needs and supports lead generation and thought leadership efforts.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external agencies to create compelling content, including whitepapers, blog articles, case studies, videos, and webinars.
- Build and nurture our brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
- Develop messaging frameworks and value propositions that resonate with our target audience.
- Generate high-quality leads and optimize conversion rates throughout the customer journey.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns, improve ROI, and make data-backed recommendations to the JP team.

Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 7 years B2B marketing strategy experience with a content portfolio you've built and are proud of in both English and Japanese; SaaS industry experience preferredAdvanced knowledge in creating and curating content to drive engagement and leads generation.Expertise in crafting marketing personas and targeting them with personalized contentInbound marketing experience with a strong foundation of SEO, CRO, and digital analyticsExperience managing key vendor relationships for content deliverablesExperience with Google Analytics & SEMrush (or a comparable SEO tool)Superior communication, writing, and editing skills and ability to effectively communicate and influence different audiencesStart-up mentality; hands-on and able to execute in a fast-paced global matrix environmentBonus : Familiarity with Search Engine Marketing, Display Advertising, Email Marketing and / or Paid Social Media MarketingAs a hybrid office-centric company, we are looking for candidates in Tokyo Area.
