Job Profile :
A Tokyo-based role reporting to the Head of Marketing Japan, responsible for driving marketing strategies for the institutional segment in Japan, to help achieve its business growth.
This role is part of the Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team and while the role primarily supports Institutional Marketing, he / she will be required to work across the spectrum of propositions and products in the HSBC Asset Management business, as required.
Key responsibilities in this role are :
oUndertake planning, development and management of all marketing strategies aimed at acquiring business from new and existing institutional clients in Japan
oPlan and execute campaigns utilising traditional media, social and digital media, website, events, partnerships, collaterals, etc. to raise the profile of HSBC AM amongst institutional clients
oWork closely with the institutional sales team to understand and fulfil client needs of the institutional audiences, and deliver marketing plans, initiatives, materials and activities to meet the needs of those clients
oDevelop and deliver client communications in a highly regulated environment through innovative thinking
oManage, track and report the costs, efficiencies and ROI of marketing activities
oTrack and analyse competitors’ activities as well as industry trends with the aim of enriching HSBC AM’s marketing proposition
oEstablish collaborative relationships with various internal stakeholders including - Investment, Compliance, Product Marketing, Marketing Delivery, Product Development etc. to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered in a smooth and timely manner
oBuild relationships with HSBC Group businesses including Global Banking and Markets & Securities Services, to facilitate collaborative marketing efforts and support the Institutional Business in achieving its objectives
oPartner with the Communications Team to identify and leverage external and internal publicity opportunities
oManage external vendors such as creative agencies, media planners, production houses and event organisers
oEnsure Global Standards, core process and procedures are followed and monitored, and global and local compliance and audit requirements are fully met
oProject manage to ensure marketing activities are delivered in an accurate and timely fashion
